World’s first Green Passport – and world’s first IHM
In 2004 we worked on the world’s first ‘Green Passport’ in full compliance with the IMO Guidelines on Ship Recycling, for the LNG carrier Granatina operated by Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Ltd (STASCo). And in 2009 we issued the world’s first IHM, in accordance with the Hong Kong Convention.

Asbestos Work and Hazardous Materials
Numerous projects advising clients on asbestos risk and management.
Extensive work at IMO and ISO writing procedures, assisting in drafts; LR Asbestos Management Guide, IMO Circ 1374 (IACS rep to drafting group), thresholds values and exemptions for hazardous materials, Hong Kong Convention, ISO 30000 project leader, contributor to ISO 30001, 30007 etc etc.
